Santa Claus Hat Cupcakes - Christmas special

Happy Christmas everybody . Its time for Christmas lights to shine , gifts to share and time for cute family  get-together.

I have been doing a lot of baking lately so I thought of posting a spicy dish or chat but what is Christmas without cakes right. So I postponed my chat recipe and started making these cute adorable Santa hat cupcakes.

This recipe is for Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Red velvet cupcakes are not just yummy but they bring out the color of Christmas too.

These Santa hat decorations are very easy to make and they doesn't take a lot of time.I have given a step by step procedure for the decoration too so that you guys can try it out and let me now how it turned out .

Macadamia nut white chocolate cookies

Macadamia nut white chocolate cookies with milk

Cookies with milk is a real comfort food when you are at home watching TV with your favourite program going on.Munching the moist and warm cookies taken just out of the oven are even more delicious.Nuts and chocolates always blend well together in bread, cakes and cookies. They give a moist yet crunchy taste.I have experimented with various nuts and chocolate chips but this is my first recipe with Macadamia nuts.

Cookies are normally baked in a cookie tray but tried baking them in a muffin pan.I did this since i wanted a perfect round-shaped cookie, slightly thicker than the usual cookies. They turned out really cute and I loved it !!

Cupcakes with rose flavored buttercream frosting - Piping a rose on a cupcake.

We have all heard the poem,

"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet,
 And so are you."

Admit it!!! Girls love flowers especially roses.Dunno why a rose cheers a women and makes everything look lovely for the rest of the day. However bad a day can get, a bouquet of roses makes you smile.

I always get an urge of eating those teeny ting buds. They are not that sweet , believe me !! I did try eating them.So ,I came up with an idea of creating a rose flavored cupcake frosting that is so irresistible to see and taste that you will never go back to your vanilla butter cream frosting again.

Cupcakes with rose bouquet piping
I made these cute rose cupcakes for my husband's birthday and he loved it !!!  You can make this for Christmas,Valentines day , birthdays or anytime you feel like having it  :)

In this recipe I am gonna show you how I piped the rose bouquet on chocolate cupcakes with step by step procedure with pictures so that you can try it out too :).

For this recipe you will need  pure rose extract / rose water. Its hard to find, I know but try using the pure one instead of the imitation. Its worth all the trouble.

This recipe is for chocolate cupcakes and rose butter cream frosting.
